The Elfrida Water Improvement District (EWID) has served the residents of Elfrida, Arizona since 2010, providing clean and reliable water to more than 245 people across 249 connections.
Our district operates three wells, two located along Gleeson Road and one on Jefferson Road, ensuring a consistent water supply throughout our community.
EWID is actively investing in the future of local water infrastructure. Recent projects include the New Gleeson Well donation, the upcoming Bulk Water Fill Station, and planned system upgrades supported by a WIFA infrastructure loan. Together, these improvements will expand capacity, improve reliability, and prepare the system for future growth.
Beyond infrastructure, we are committed to transparency and conservation. EWID is governed by a five-member elected board and managed by a small, dedicated team focused on accountability, environmental stewardship, and public service.
Our goal is simple: to deliver safe, sustainable water while building trust through open communication and ongoing investment in our community’s future.
