- Approval of Minutes February 17, 2026: Annette made a motion to approve the minutes, Herlinda 2nd . Andrew and James agreed motion Passed.
- Call to the Public:
The Chairperson may allow individuals from the public to address the Board. Comments shall be limited to Water District related items that do not appear on the agenda or for which no public hearing has been held. The board shall not and cannot discuss or take legal action on matters raised during an open Call to the Public unless the matters are properly noticed for discussion and legal action but may instruct the Secretary to schedule discussion later. At the conclusion of the open Call to the Public, individual members of the Governing Board may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed a specific Board member and may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that matter be put on a future agenda.
- Discussion/Possible Action: Backflow Prevention: Tabled for the backflow prevention for the park irrigation. So, they can talk to the fire chief about the backflow prevention for park irrigation. Robin also mentioned that she got an email from the state saying that the post office should keep their backflow prevention and test it annually because it’s federally mandated that a federal building has to have a backflow prevention.
- Discussion/Possible Action: General Manager reports overview of EWID: Robin talked about the issues with the water. Gleeson Well went from 150gals per minute to 250gals per minute we are picking up a very fine silt, the silt is carried through the line. We cleaned the water containment, drained 30-thousand-gallon tank, pressure washed it, sanitized it, and got 3 buckets of silt out of the tank. Addressing the issue with slit getting in people’s lines. She discussed why we have such a big loss, she let them know that we have been flushing the system once or even twice a week so customers won’t be getting that brownish water. Trying to get everything figured out to get a new filtration system for water. Last payment to Longmire. Talked about the Insurance company.
- Discussion/Possible Action: Field Operators Report: Robin talked about where John is with the work truck. She also talked about the meters John and Paul fixed on Mormon and HWY 191.
- Discussion/Possible Action: Board Communication: research for supplying water to people. We must have access to the meter, if we don’t, we can refuse service if we can’t get to the meter. If a house is vacant we will pull meters. Talked to Luther about more grants.
