- Call to the Public Danny spoke to the council about the water company staying positive.
The Chairperson may allow individuals from the public to address the Board. Comments shall be limited to Water District related items that do not appear on the agenda or for which no public hearing has been held. The board shall not and cannot discuss or take legal action on matters raised during an open Call to the Public unless the matters are properly noticed for discussion and legal action but may instruct the Secretary to schedule discussion later. At the conclusion of the open Call to the Public, individual members of the Governing Board may respond to criticism made by those who have addressed a specific Board member and may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that matter be put on a future agenda.
- Discussion/Possible Action: Vote Herlinda Mendez to the water board council- Annette Nominated Herlinda Mendez to be part of the water board council. James 2nd Andrew 3rdÂ
- Discussion/Possible Action: Oath of Office for New Member- Herlinda Mendez accepted Oath of Office.
- Discussion/Possible Action: Adoption of Open Meeting Law Compliance Policy- James made a motion to adopt the Open Meeting Law Compliance Policy, Annette 2nd . Andrew agreed. Motion Passed.
- Discussion/Possible Action: General Manager reports overview of EWID- Robin talked about Autumn still working on books. Trying to get in touch with IRS, we got a letter in the mail saying we are in compliance. She also talked about the monthly budget and how much we have in the account. We are still making payments to TPT. Working on RCAC loan to get all the paperwork in.Â
- Discussion/Possible Action: Field Operators Report- Everything is good.Â
- Discussion/Possible Action: Board Communication- Linda is going to make a call for the dumpster. Luther is going to be communicating to the board members on zoom updates on the grant once a month. Annette communicated how Robin is doing a great job. James asked if we want to go visit state to see what kind of equipment they have for the water company that we don’t have to buy it, we get it free. The board members talked about the company truck that is still being worked on. Grant is still at a standstill until we get the RCAC loan. James made a motion to approve $1000.00 for the bookkeeper Annette 2nd, Andrew agreed. Motion Passed.
Robin talked about the anonymous donor; they are going to pay for the pump and what’s involved with the pump. Paid off withholding taxes.
